Born in Brooklyn, NY from parents who were Panamanian immigrants, Robert (Rob) Henlon has always aspired to be an entrepreneur. His father joined the Marines a year after his birth where Rob learned the value of hard work, duty, and loyalty. As a “military brat”, Rob lived in North Carolina, Hawaii, and New Orleans. He also visited family in Panama and New York frequently. His childhood also included vacations to Germany, California, and Mexico. The exposure to several cultures during his youth, taught him to appreciate the diversity in different cultures.
As an adult, Rob Henlon followed his father’s footsteps and joined the Military where he was stationed in Savannah, GA, South Korea, Kuwait, Trinidad and Tobago, and Costa Rica.
He served 8 years in the U.S. Army earning the rank of Sergeant (E-5). where he had over 100 soldiers under his command. The military taught Rob, both leadership and team building skills. After the Army, he put this knowledge to use where he worked his way up to an Associate Director of Financial Aid at Full Sail University while simultaneously attending college. Within four years, Rob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Warner University, and a Masters in Leadership & Management from Webster University.
Rob has been married to his teenage love, Jennifer for over 24 years, where they share 3 children: Robert Jr., Maricela, and Amarilis.
In April 2004, Rob and his Sister & Business Partner, Jess decided to combine their professional and personal experiences, and built their second company Fierce Entertainment as an event production company. Currently they produce custom branded events such as: Orlando International Fashion Week, Fierce Entertainment Network (FEN) Social, the Fashion Emerging Designer Gauntlet Exhibit (Fashion EDGE).
Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Rob started an online talk show, “Fierce Entertainment Live”. The show airs every Friday at 6:00 Eastern Standard Time and hosted by his sister Jessica Henlon, Friends Starr Dalton and Tron Roberts (DJ Tron), himself where they interview entertainers of various genres, and fashion designers.
