Benefit Dinner & Fashion Show for Autism Speaks – Orlando Science Center

A benefit dinner & show for Autism Speaks featuring a fashion show, live entertainment, interactive games, shopping expo and ballet performance by Russian Ballet of Orlando. Free parking in the Science Center garage. The first 60 kids (age 12 and under) will receive a FREE T-shirt donated by World Wresting Entertainment (WWE).
Fashion without Borders: 7-Year-Old Autistic Designer Suleiman Alqadheeb Breaks the Mold
Alquadheeb is one example of fashion’s heart. Fashion shows and fashion weeks frequently partner with charities and non-profits to infuse artistry with altruism. In a very recent example, Orlando International Fashion Week, slated for November 2-8, 2014, has officially partnered with Autism Speaks for its “Fashion Night Out” benefit dinner.
Autism (n.) – a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.
Autism affects 1 in 68 children and there is no medical detection or cure for autism. Autism Speaks is an autism Advocacy Organization in the United States that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. Please show your support for autism by posting pictures of you wearing blue or your favorite blue pieces in order to raise awareness.
