Born and raised in South Florida, Megan Clementi trained in dance and tumbling at a young age. She began her professional dance career in Japan at eighteen years old when she accepted a position with Tokyo Disneyland in their Once upon a Mouse performance show. Ms. Clementi continued her dance career as an NBA dancer and Dunking Dancer with the Orlando Magic. In addition to performing during pre and post season games, Ms. Clementi traveled the world representing the Magic in various capacities. She was named team leader in her third season and was the chosen representative for the first ever NBA All-Star Dance Team in Las Vegas. She spent a total of five seasons with the Orlando Magic franchise before becoming an in-game arena emcee and side-line reporter for Inside the Magic for Fox Sports Florida. She also worked with the Armed Forces Entertainment organization to perform for troops in Bosnia, Kosovo, Germany, Belgium, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
Ms. Clementi won the title of Miss Florida USA 2010 and represented her home state of Florida in the nationally televised Miss USA Pageant. During her year long reign, Ms. Clementi appeared at 235 events across the state, traveling over 40,000 miles. She developed a scholarship program for young girls interested in math, science and technology, awarding $3450 in educational assistance. While traveling to science fairs around the state, she was able to speak on the importance of women in the fields of math and science, stressing the need for more support for young girls interested in the subjects. Lastly, Ms. Clementi created “Climb for the Cure” in which she climbed every lighthouse in the state of Florida to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research.
In addition to her work with Fox Sports Florida, Ms. Clementi works on a variety of Television and Web broadcast productions. Her credits as on-air talent include: Inside the Magic, Stub Hub 360, MetroMix, host of the Miss Florida Teen USA Pageant, Miss Florida USA Channel on YouTube, UKnighted on UCF-TV, and as an event reporter for WPLG Local 10 (the ABC affiliate) in Miami. Ms. Clementi also has a starring role in the nationally distributed television program, Muscle Car Workout, on PBS. She continues to host live events and broadcasts throughout the state and was recently named as a product specialist for Porsche.
Ms. Clementi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Leadership from the University of Central Florida. She continues to dance in a variety of shows and productions throughout the country. She and her husband, Jack Lutzeier, reside in Orlando.
